Colgate Domains for Teaching and Learning

Monday, August 22, 2022:  1:00 PM - 1:30 PM

The registration period has closed for this event.

“Colgate Domains” provides faculty with a space on the web and access to digital tools for creating websites (such as WordPress). Colgate Domains supports teaching and learning by enabling faculty and students to curate and make connections to other sources and media on the web and publish their work in a space that can be easily viewed and shared with others. This workshop will feature examples of websites created as part of collaborative class projects at Colgate, as well as an overview of the principles of connected learning and open pedagogy that informed the creation of the websites. Ideas and recommendations for activity and assignment design for websites created in Colgate Domains, as well as student feedback from these assignments, will also be shared to inform potential collaborative course projects in Colgate Domains.

This session will take place as a Zoom meeting. Participants will receive the link to join the meeting via their confirmation email.
