Maureen Dunn, water quality scientist for Seatuck Environmental Association, presents Half Shells for Habitat, an oyster shell recovery program. She will go into the history and causes for the demise of the natural oyster reefs as well as the ecosystem services that oysters provide today, such as improved water quality. She will also discuss the role that climate change plays in the future of oysters.
