The Pyramid Model Consortium is offering Routines within Routines within Routines from their series Targeted Strategies to Support Inclusion of Children with Disabilities. Routines within Routines within Routines is a 2 hour session and can be used for Continued Professional Learning hours.

This training on Routines will demonstrate how purposeful and effective routines can provide a high-quality learning environment. Participants will use a hands-on approach to build upon past pyramid experiences to recognize the importance of predictable consistent routines to promote engagement and independence for all students. The presenter will use participants' activities to build upon their routines to embed learning opportunities. The presenter will provide content using multimedia to provide examples and activities for participants.


Ron Roybal is currently working in the PELE Center at the University of Denver for the Morgridge College of Education. His responsibilities have included the LEAP USA and LEAP Outreach projects, the Professional Development in Autism project, the Colorado Autism Project, TACSEI and CSEFEL. He presents at national challenging behavior conferences and professional development / staff development days around the country. Prior to working at DU, Ron was a teacher in an early childhood inclusive classroom for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and typically developing students. His extensive experience in inclusive classroom settings as a teacher and coach for children with special needs and children at risk or with challenging behaviors bring a unique perspective as a trainer and coach.
