Kelly Wilson developed her career through the Positive Early Learning Experiences Center at the University of Colorado Denver. She brings many years of experience in early childhood through extensive work with the Pyramid Model and LEAP (Learning Experiences: Alternatives for Parents and Preschoolers) Preschool Model.
Kelly is co-author, trainer and researcher for Prevent-Teach-Reinforce: The School-Based Model of Individualized Positive Behavior Support, first and second editions and Prevent-Teach-Reinforce: For Young Children. She is published in the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions for her work with Prevent Teach Reinforce. Kelly provides support that includes direct consultation and training in a variety of settings including childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, as well as staff and parent training. She is well-versed in implementation science and systems change.
Kelly has been a consultant for the Colorado Department of Education since 2011 and currently owns her own service agency. Over the past 30 years, Kelly has been involved in almost every aspect of early intervention, general education, and special education and continues to provide intensive behavioral support with PTR and PTR-YC.
