Transformation of the DNFB in the midst of a Pandemic – Keys to Stabilization & Success

Shawn Armbruster RHIA

The Coding department is often measured by one metric, the DNFB. But often times the DNFB performance fluctuates with impacting factors such as an influx in volumes or change in staffing. The Wellstar Coding Services department set up a goal to stabilize the CFB from the up and down fluctuations to a maintained, sustainable number – during one of the most challenging staffing times of our career, the COVID-19 pandemic. We will share what we learned with this Wildly Important Goal (WIG), tactics for improvement and ways to sustain the performance and be recognized by your C-suite as a top-performing revenue cycle department.

Presentation 3
