Julie Davies opened her first bed & breakfast inn in 1986 (while managing hotels and resorts) and her newest STR in 2015. She was asked by municipal officials to write a course about STR industry laws and best practices in 2017 and she co-authored the textbook, Vacation Rental Management 411. With thousands of course graduates giving the STR Certification Course excellent reviews, this training has been mandated for STR license/permit applicants in several cities. Davies lectures internationally on STR management and Lodging Industry trends while consulting with and reviewing travel businesses. She has received the Permanent Faculty Member designation with the American Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Institute and has taught over 30 university courses. This course is being held online via Zoom Meetings. Zoom is an online web conferencing software that allows the instructor (host) and students (participants) to see and interact with each other in real-time.
