Good health and well-being involve the interaction of multiple dimensions of human living. We will discuss the importance of being aware of and addressing these multiple dimensions. We will look at how we can thrive in our health as well as prevent common disease states or prevent them from advancing through integrating self-care across the multiple dimensions of health including professional health care. And we will cover how to design a holistic or integrative strategy to address the preparation for, experience of and recovery from medical procedures such as major surgeries.
