Parent Education Series: Strategies to Help Your Own Child Learn Basic Math Facts

Begins: Saturday, January 15, 2022

Ends: Saturday, January 15, 2022

The registration period has closed for this event.

Description

Did you know that when you subtract numbers that have consecutive EVEN or ODD numbers in the units column, the answer is 8 or ends in 8?

  • Examples 12 – 4, 13 – 5, 14 – 6, 15 – 7, etc.

Students cannot be successful in math or science unless they are fluent in mastery of basic math facts. Strategies will be introduced that will make learning the facts much easier for students in a very non-threatening way.

*This event is for parents only. Certificates reflecting credit/hours will not be provided at the conclusion of this event.
