Tufts University School of Dental Medicine's Dental Sleep Medicine Mini-Residency is a 6-month program where participants engage with world-renowned experts in the field through lectures and workshops, both live-streamed online and in person. Between modules, program directors provide guided self-study and intermodule sessions.

NOSHIR R. MEHTA, D.M.D., M.S., For over 49 years, Dr. Mehta has been a part of the faculty at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In 1976, he co-founded the first school based TMD center in the country which grew into the current Craniofacial pain center at Tufts. He is currently a senior adviser to the Craniofacial Pain, Headache and Sleep he co-founded. Dr. Mehta has a special interest in orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine. He lectures nationally and internationally on these topics. Dr. Mehta has received numerous awards from various dental organizations including the prestigious Hayden Stack Award from the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and, most recently, 2015 Clinician of the Year from the Massachusetts Dental Society. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals, is editor of the sleep section for the Journal of Craniomandibular and Sleep Practice and sits on the editorial board of several other international publications.
JAMISON R. SPENCER, D.M.D., M.S., Dr. Jamison Spencer is the director of Dental Sleep Medicine for the Center for Sleep Apnea and TMJ, in Boise Idaho and Salt Lake City Utah. Dr. Spencer is the Past-President of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine and has a Masters in Craniofacial Pain from Tufts University. He taught head and neck anatomy at Boise State University, is adjunct faculty at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Spencer has been invited to give lectures on TMD, Dental Sleep Medicine and head and neck anatomy throughout the United States at every major dental meeting, Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Australia, Europe and India.
JONATHAN PARKER, D.D.S., Dr. Parker is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and an adjunct faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has treated patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) for over 29 years and has a full-time practice in dental sleep medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota since 2001. Dr. Parker has lectured internationally on the role of the dentist in managing snoring and OSA. He has authored a number of research articles and abstracts evaluating the effectiveness of oral appliance therapy for OSA.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Tufts University School of Dental Medicine's Dental Sleep Medicine Mini-Residency has been designated as an Accredited AADSM Mastery Program Provider. Attendees of accredited Mastery Program Provider programs are eligible to earn the AADSM Qualified Dentists designation and apply for the ABDSM certification exam through the Mastery Track.
This Mini-Residency Program is divided into three modules, each consisting of three days of lectures, workshops, and inter-module guided learning. This allows participants to incorporate their learning into their clinical practice as they progress.
This program is designed for dentists looking to expand their understanding of dental sleep medicine. It emphasizes the connection between sleep medicine, dental sleep medicine and TMD.

Refund Policy for Dental Sleep Medicine Programs: Full tuition refund or credit will be given for cancellations received at least one month prior to the course start date. Refunds or tuition credit will not be given after that time or to no-shows.
Wait List Policy: If a CE course obtains enough registrations where a wait list is established, the CE office will notify individuals with unpaid registration balances and ask them to pay their balance to secure their place in the course. If payment is not made to secure their place, the CE office has the right to offer that place to a paying individual on the wait list.
