EMILIO I ARGUELLO, DMD, MSc. Emilio Argüello obtained his dental degree, specialty training in periodontology, and Master of Science in Oral Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Argüello is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. He has conducted extensive clinical and basic science research in periodontology at The Forsyth Institute and Harvard University in Boston.  He serves as a core faculty at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in the post-graduate periodontology program. He has co-authored textbooks as well as several scientific publications in peer review journals; lectures extensively nationally and internationally in addition to serving as a reviewer of the Journal of Periodontology and for the International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry among others. He also serves a Committee Chair at the Academy of Osseo-integration.

Dr. Arguello has made and impact in the dental industry in the last 15 years in the fields of business management, technology development, research and academics. He continues to collaborate with other specialists and industry leaders, locally, nationally, and internationally for the constant improvement of the profession in benefit of patient care. 

NACIYE GUZIN UZEL, DMD, DMSc, Dr. N. Guzin Uzel received her DMD from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her Periodontology Certificate and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She also received her Certificate in Microbiology from The Forsyth Institute.

Dr. Uzel has published several peer-reviewed papers and book chapters on both basic science and clinical applications of periodontics and taught for several years at Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she served as the Clinical Director of Postdoctoral Periodontology. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of Research Education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.


Course Details

This comprehensive course will offer an in-depth view on the new advances and simplification process in implant dentistry and will present new easily applicable work-flows and concepts to protect the bone cells during implant placement; this process will help in more predictable osseo-integration. Furthermore, new easy to apply De-novo surgical protocols will be described step by step in the pre-prosthetic, surgical and post implant insertion phase including hands free protocols as well as new affordable and predictable and easy to follow technologies on 3D guided implant protocols


Artificial intelligence in dentistry is a new field to dental community. This course will also include an in-depth view of the existing artificial intelligence technologies available to the dental field today. This technology if deployed in the dental practices will maximize the accuracy in diagnosing for the general practitioner as well as chair-side efficiency and case acceptance. Learn how this affordable technology can be applied to your dental practice today either in general dentistry or specialty practice.


A third and final phase is the hands-on training and the application of all these technologies and surgical protocols that will allow you to import them directly into your clinical practice.


Please note that this is the only course of its type in the dental industry today and the technologies discussed and applied have been a privilege of key opinion leaders until now.

Learning Objectives
  • Clinicians will learn new information in Artificial Intelligence and how this affordable technology can easily be applied in the dental practice to maximize diagnosis, time efficiency and case acceptance.

  • Clinicians will be able to understand the damage caused by traditional drilling protocols in implant placement and how to overcome those challenges through new drill bit designs.

  • Participants will be able to learn, practice and adapt new thought processes while performing implant surgery either prior to, during or post implant placement for more predictable outcomes.

  • Participants will learn the use of CBCT and new simplified work-flows on 3D guided implant surgeries and other new applications of the CBCT technology in the field of dentistry

Refund Policy

Full tuition refund or credit will be given for cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the course start date. Refunds or tuition credit will not be given after that time or to no-shows.

Wait List Policy

If a CE course obtains enough registrations where a wait list is established, the CE office will notify individuals with unpaid registration balances and ask them to pay their balance to secure their place in the course. If payment is not made to secure their place, the CE office has the right to offer that place to a paying individual on the wait list.

Enrollment and Cancellation Policy

The Office of Continuing Education reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or faculty for any course if circumstances indicate the need for such a change. If the school finds it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. The school will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, the Office of Continuing Education may be forced to cancel or postpone a course.
