Relaxation and movement are important aspects of coping during labor. They allow your body to work more efficiently to complete the labor process. This two-hour class will teach you how to relax, change positions and use other coping skills while laboring at home and in the hospital. The techniques presented are helpful for those new to labor and birth as well as for families who have already given birth and simply want to refresh their delivery coping skills. It is best taken in the eighth month of pregnancy. We encourage your birth partner to join you for the class.
