New CS Discoveries teachers are invited to attend meet-ups which will review Units 1-6 in Code.org CS Discoveries (also called FOCS and/or ECS). If requirements are met, you can earn 1 CPD Credit.
Meets 9/24, 10/22, 11/12, 12/17, 1/28, 2/25, 3/11, 4/29 (attend at least 4 sessions and complete an assignment reflection to earn CPD credit)

(CPDs are only earned after you've attended the required number of synchronous meetings and completed the required number of asynchronous assignments.)
This workshop is offered at no cost to all participants.
Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) does not provide individual stipends to teachers for its professional development. In some cases CPD credit is available. Please check with your district point of contact for questions around stipend eligibility and availability.
Recording of sessions will be determined by the facilitator(s).
