Praxis Preparation

The registration period has closed for this event.

 

If you have already taught at least one section of computer science and are interested in the add-on endorsement to teach CS by taking the Praxis test, attend this deep dive workshop to help with your studies and practice with others. If you are interested you can also apply for the grant program to become part of a study cohort. Sessions will be held on Saturdays on 9/25/2021, 10/2/2021, 10/9/2021, 10/16/2021, 10/23/2021, 10/30/2021, 11/6/2021 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

  

Learn more about the program here. Or, if you are applying to be part of the Maryland cohort of teachers, you will need to first pass the pretest(you can retake it if needed).

Workshop Fees

his workshop is offered at no cost.

 

Scholarships from the Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) and Code.org will be offered to teachers who meet eligibility requirements. For more information on eligibility, please contact your district lead or inquire at MCCE-MDCodes@learning-stream.com or MCCE-PD@learning-stream.com.

 

Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) does not provide individual stipends to teachers for its professional development. In some cases CPD credit is available. Please check with your district point of contact for questions around stipend eligibility and availability.
