Improving voter turnout is crucial to our democracy. Learn about the Schenectady County League of Women Voters efforts to study who votes, and why and how we (and you) can improve participation in the political process. Discussion will include analysis of voter turnout in each of the last several election years and the League's voter registration and GOTV initiatives.

Speaker

 

Pauline Kinsella is from the Schenectady County League of Women Voters, representing their Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiative. She received a BA degree from Brown University and a JD degree from the Boston University School of Law. Prior to her retirement, she was a member of the Massachusetts and New York State Bar Associations. She served as the chairperson and chief executive officer of the New York State Public Employment Relations Board. She was the director of field services for New York State United Teachers. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of New York State United Teachers.
