Eshelman School of Pharmacy Health-System Pharmacy Administration Training Program provides options for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to gain important knowledge and skills in health-system pharmacy administration to enhance their current role, or prepare for a future career move. This is a yearlong training program with a course offered in each of three consecutive semesters – Fall, Spring and Summer. Students can begin the program in any semester and complete courses in sequential order.

• PACE 815 Evaluation Research and Project Design: This course provides formal instruction on critical components of evaluation research, study design, and data analyses.
  
  
• PACE 820 Health-System Pharmacy Leadership: This course focuses on principles of leadership and strategies used by leaders, with an emphasis in health-system pharmacy. Active learning strategies are used to examine and model leadership principles.
  
  
• PACE 833 Overview to Health Systems: This course is designed to expose participants to real world issues facing health system pharmacy leaders and to teach participants to work through concepts, processes, and challenges that are and will be faced.

A letter of intent will be requested after registration has been submitted.

Cancellation: If the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Office of Lifelong Learning needs to cancel the program, participants will be notified and fully refunded their registration fees. If the participant requests to cancel they may do so, but cancellation fees may apply. No refund will be given for cancellation requests that are less than 48 hours prior to a live program.
