Recertification Programs
To begin the registration process for both workshop(s) and/or exam(s) you will need to click on the 'RECERTIFICATIONS' button below.
Once you click the button, you will be asked to:
- log in or create a new account
- select the month you want to take the workshop and/or exam(s) in
- select the workshop and/or exam method(s)
- pay for the workshop and/or exam(s)
Upon receipt someone from the NTS will contact you to confirm or schedule new dates for the workshop(s) and/or exam(s).
Recertification
The QCCC National Training Society (NTS) has been approved by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to be an Approved Examination Centre (AEC) for Recertification Examinations in MT/PT/UT at our three existing Centres in Edmonton AB, Brantford ON, and Saint John NB.
To assist candidates in preparing for recertification examinations, the National Training Fund and QCCC National Training Society are sponsoring practical workshops at all three NTS locations. These services are intended for members and potential members to refresh their technical skills prior to undertaking the CGSB recertification exam(s). These services are at no cost to applicants currently employed by Union Companies.
NOTE: Non-union members are welcome to participate in our Workshop Program and can register using the enclosed Registration Form and paying the applicable fees.
How to determine if you are or when you are due for recertification
Your certification wallet card DOES NOT provide this information. Please review your personal certification information on the NRCan Directory of Certified Personnel (NRCan website).
"Expiration" Date - RENEWAL BY APPLICATION Only
"Recertification Due Date" - PRACTICAL EXAM Required

Sharon Bond has been hired as the Program Coordinator to work with existing AECs and the NTS to assist QCCC members with the recertification process. It is never to early to plan and once you make that decision to recertify it is highly recommended to contact the Program Coordinator at 289-680-0123 or sharon@qcccanada.com.

Recertification Workshops (MPI, LPI, UT 1 & 2)
The National Training Fund and QCCC Training Society are sponsoring practical workshops at the National Training Society centres in Edmonton and Brantford. These services are intended for members and potential members to assist in obtaining practical workshops prior to undertaking CGSB recertification exams, as well as general assistance in the development of NDT skills in the various methods. These services are at no cost to members in good standing currently employed by Union Companies.
NOTE: Non-union members are welcome to participate in our Workshop Program and can register using the enclosed Registration Form and paying the applicable fees.
Initial & Recertification Workshop Hours:
- Half Days : 8:00am to 11:00am Daily
(Monday to Friday) - Full Days: 8:30am to 3:00pm Daily

The National Training Fund and QCCC Training Society are sponsoring a practical RT workshop Online through ZOOM. These services are at no cost to members in good standing currently employed by Union Companies.
NOTE: Non-union members are welcome to participate in our Workshop Program and can register using the enclosed Registration Form and paying the applicable fees.

- Half Days: 8:00am to 12:00am Check schedule for dates.
