Darcy Corcoran


The Director, Darcy Corcoran, has been involved in all aspects of NDT training and certification and is involved both nationally and internationally, representing Canada on ISO Committees, the Natural Resources Canada Advisory Committee, and Scheme Committee.

Kelby LeMoine


Kelby is the NTS Office Administrator and is the first person that you will encounter when registering and attending courses. Kelby handles all the bookings for all three locations and helps to supervise the written examinations.

The NTS has hired experienced and certified NDT and Heat Treatment staff to deliver the programs being offered and ensure that the level of instruction meets the needs of the diverse range of students.

 

Curtis Ferguson


In the Edmonton location Curtis is the lead Ultrasonic Level 2 and Phased Array Instructor with certifications in CGSB, ASNT and PCN. Curtis also performs the PA workshops and practical examinations. Curtis holds CGSB Level 2 PT, MT, Level 3 UT, PCN PA 2 and ASNT Level 3 MT, PT, UT.

Darcy Harrison


Darcy is the lead MPI instructor at the Edmonton facility and currently holds CGSB Level 2 UT, Level 3 PT and MT, and CWB certifications and is a journeyman welder. Darcy will help lead the Practical Workshops and Examinations.

Randy Everest

In the Edmonton location Randy Everest is the lead LPI and CEDO Instructor; he will also be helping with the Recertification Workshops and Exams. Randy has certifications in CGSB Level 2 MT, PT, RT, Level 1 UT, and API 510 as well as possessing a IPV certification.

Jason Smith


Jason brings many years of NDT experience in CGSB training, workshops and examinations and will be leading our Practical Workshops and Examinations. Jason is also the lead instructor for Materials and Processes. He holds CGSB certifications Level 2 MT, PT, RT, UT and is a Materials Engineering Technologist.

Steve Robinson


Steve is our lead Ultrasonics Level 1 instructor and brings a variety of CGSB certifications Level 2 MT, PT, UT, XRF, and ASNT Level 3 MT, PT, UT and PCN Level 2 PA and TOFD certifications. Steve will also be the lead instructor for XRF and help with the Recertification Workshops and Exams.

Jason Stanley


Jason brings many years of practical NDT experience to the NTS having worked in the NDT service industry focused primarily in the nuclear/power generation sector. Holding CGSB MT2, PT2, RT1 & UT2, CWB2, PCN PAUT2 certification and having completed the CGSB recertification process, he will be leading the recertification workshops and exams in Hamilton.

Sharon Bond


Sharon Bond is the National Recertification Coordinator and brings many years of NDT experience in CGSB training, workshops, and examinations. She holds CGSB certifications in MT/PT/RT and has completed the recertification process herself.

Bruce Stewart


Bruce has been directly involved in the heat treating industry starting as a field technician trainee in 1991. During his career he has worked in a variety of safety, technical, supervisory, and management capacities within the field heat treatment industry. His current position as Field Heat Treatment Training Coordinator with the Quality Control Council of Canada includes training program development, instructing, and as a liaison with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Field Heat Treatment Occupational Committee. Mr. Stewart is a voting member of the American Welding Society D10.10 committee member since 2012.
