Understanding Disaster Recovery and Trauma: Developing Knowledge and Skills to Build Resilient Communities - FREE TO ALL
The past few years have seen extreme weather-related events in Kentucky and surrounding areas that have created barriers to rebuilding and concrete needs and the mental health of those affected. Course will provide an overview of providing social work services in the wake of a disaster. Course will provide information and skills on mental health supports and crisis intervention. The presentation may include synchronous and offline modules, videos and check back quizzes. This presentation is appropriate for all levels of mental health professionals, case managers or other first responders working with affected communities.

Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD): Considerations for Effective Interdisciplinary Care - Webinar
In this webinar, participants will increase familiarity with medications used in treatment of Opioid Use Disorders (MOUD), learn how to create a supportive environment for clients, and discuss the evidence and available resources for MOUD. Participants will explore the impacts of stigma on access and provision of MOUD and how to coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers. Content is appropriate for mental health professionals including, but not limited to, MFTs, Social Workers, and psychologists, and includes the professional application of theories and techniques in the delivery of services to individuals, couples, families, and beyond.

This course is designed to meet the needs of AAMFT Approved Supervisors in good standing who must complete a one-hour, board-approved CE training on Kentucky law and clinicians who have been licensed for at least five years and have completed a board-approved supervision course (six-hour course). Non-AAMFT (Board) approved supervisors are also required to take an additional one-hour continuing education regarding supervision (201 KAR 32:035).

Groupwork: Mutual-Aid and Practical Application of Group Activities - Webinar
The Groupwork: Mutual-Aid and Practical Application of Group Activities workshop is designed for Clinicians seeking to enhance their group facilitation skills and conceptualization from a Mutual-Aid framework. The learner will learn about different group types and the challenges and opportunities in each to promote Mutual Aid with clients in a group psychotherapy setting. Participants will review different stages of the group including pre-group planning, monitoring discord between participants, and ways to effectively evaluate progress of the group and individual members. The presentation will be largely experiential with ample opportunity to practice and review skills in role-plays and observation. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Treatment of Substance Use Disorders - Webinar
The Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in Treatment of Substance Use Disorders training is a clinical workshop that reviews Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy theory and interventions. The thought-feeling-action model of cognitive therapy will be discussed in the context of substance use. The training builds on foundational knowledge and incorporates clinical considerations and specific interventions in treatment of Substance Use Disorders. The training focuses on core cognitive and behavioral interventions while adding elective therapeutic components to customize treatment for clients. Gender and Sexual Diversity in Social Work Practice: Embracing Diversity and Strengthening Inclusion - Webinar
Gender and sexual diversity may be discussed more and more now, but that doesn’t mean everyone understands it in the same way. This workshop will orient participants to key terms, concepts, and language related to gender and sexual diversity. It will also provide information regarding prevalence of gender and sexual diversity across various populations, highlighting intersectionality, and discussing disparate outcomes for GSD individuals. This workshop will identify and discuss methods to increase inclusion and affirmation in social work practice with colleagues, students, and clients.
