Phlebotomy

Phlebotomy courses are held multiple times throughout the year. Courses are taught in traditional on-campus and hybrid on-campus/online formats. Course lengths also vary to accommodate various learning speeds and work or school schedules. Please apply for the course that best fits your schedule and learning style. Orientation and clinical days are mandatory.

Students will not be considered for the program until their application is complete. This includes applying, paying the application fee, receiving transcripts and written statement. 

Additional course offerings will be posted throughout the year.

Phlebotomy Hybrid Course Application - Spring 2023
This course is a hybrid course consisting of online lectures and assignments as well as on-campus labs and clinical experiences in the community. Students will come to campus on Thursdays from 5:30pm to 8:30pm to complete hands-on skills and participate in class activities and discussions. Students need to be prepared to spend 6-8 hours online each week plus 3 hours in lab.

CNA+ Hybrid Course Application - Summer 2023
This course is a 15 week hybrid course consisting of CNA, Medication Aide and Phlebotomy with online lectures, assignments, on-campus labs and clinical experiences in the community. Students will come to campus one to two times a week on Mondays and Wednesdays to complete hands-on skills and participate in class activities and discussions for CNA and Medication Aide the first 5 weeks. Weeks 6 - week 12 starts Phlebotomy and will meet once a week on Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 8:30pm for hands-on skills and lab. The last 3 weeks of class will consist of a clinical externship Monday - Friday for 40 hours each week during the day. Students need to be prepared to spend 10 hours online each week plus 3-4 hours in lab.
